This Privacy Policy describes how data is collected, used, and protected when you use the FinTrack mobile application (the “App”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we may collect your name, email address, and Google user ID to identify your account and enable synchronization across devices.
- Financial Data You Provide: Data you enter in the App (e.g., transactions, categories, notes) is stored securely and linked to your account to provide the core functionality of the App.
- Device & Diagnostics: We may collect technical information (such as device model, OS version, and diagnostic logs) to improve performance and troubleshoot issues.

AI Features (Premium):
If you use AI-powered features, the App may send limited financial data (such as transaction amounts, categories, dates, and optional user comments) to a third-party AI service provider to generate personalized financial tips and insights.
We do not send personal identifiers such as your name, email address, account ID, authentication tokens, or payment information.
Data is transmitted securely over encrypted HTTPS connections and is used only to generate the requested financial advice. The AI provider does not use this data for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.
AI functionality is optional and activated only when you choose to use Premium AI features.
2. Subscriptions & Purchases
Subscription payments are processed securely by the platform provider through your device’s official app store. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
To provide Premium features, we may store subscription-related information such as product identifier, purchase status, and expiration date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s subscription settings.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide expense tracking, analytics, and insights.
- To sync data across devices (if signed in).
- To provide Premium features, including AI-powered financial tips.
- To maintain security and improve app performance.
4. Data Storage & Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services to provide certain features:
- Authentication providers – for secure sign-in.
- Platform app stores – for processing subscriptions and purchases.
- Analytics and diagnostics tools (optional) – for performance monitoring.
- AI service providers – used only to generate AI-powered financial insights when you explicitly use Premium features. No personal identifiers are shared.
These services have their own privacy policies.
6. No Advertising or Tracking
We do not sell your data and we do not share your data for third-party marketing purposes. We do not use advertising networks for behavioral advertising.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13.
